Shri Bahubali Bramhcharya

Kumbhoj is a short drive away from Kolhapur through the sugar belt of Maharashtra. The Bahubali statue is located on the lower level while the temple is on the hill. The place not being on the tourist radar is not very crowded and is quite peaceful.

 

Boat shaped temple

This temple is constructed in shape of big boat.
There is supposed to be water around it, I didn't see that because it was off at that time.
There is a museum at the basement of temple. Worth seeing.
From basement you need to climb stairs to get to the temple.
The temple is quite nice and well constructed.
Have a stroll across the temple from all corners of boat to see the nature and surroundings.
